Both 'niggles' were picked up in the Stags 1-1 draw with Brentford at the weekend.
"They have not trained this morning and we'll just have to see how fit they are by tomorrow night," Dearden told the Nottingham Evening Post on Monday.
"But if there is any doubt, then I will not be playing them. Every game is important but the main focus for us is Saturday's game with Lincoln.
"I think both players should definitely be fit for Saturday if they are rested."
