SPURS OLD BOY TURNS DOWN TERRAS' OFFER
Weymouth boss Garry Hill has failed in his attempt to bring former Tottenham Hotspur and Reading midfielder Darren Caskey to the club. The 31-year-old, who played under Hill at Hornchurch last season, has spent the past few months with Virginia Beach Mariners in the USA's second division - and it was believed he was about to sign for the Terras subject to international clearance. But it appears the contract offer made by Hill has fallen short of that required by the player, who is now training with Coca-Cola League Two side Mansfield Town.
