Chairman on Newcastle Tickets!

It is fast becoming clear that we are heading for another Ticket fiasco, instead of looking forward to the biggest day out since the play off final, it is looking like many Stags supporters could miss out on the trip to St James Park....

Speaking to the Mansfield CHAD newspaper, Haslam said "Newcastle have said they will give us as many tickets as they possibly can, though we have had to buy the tickets - there is no sale or return.
"We have had to offer those tickets in the fairest way we could."

"If we had just allowed season tickets holders to buy two each then that would have been 2,400 sold already which is a large chunk of the allocation.
"We felt the fairest way to sell the other tickets was to the loyal supporters who turn up to our games which we are looking to do on Saturday.
"I know there will be one or two who will miss out due to other commitments but it's hard to please everyone."

"It is a mouthwatering tie."

"It is a great opportunity for supporters to visit a truly magnificent stadium and for the players to show what they can do on a great stage.
"Getting to the third round of the FA Cup has always been the benchmark."

"And playing at Newcsatle mens a lot to people in this area, many of who have family in the North-east and came down here for the mining industry."
