David Holdsworth, currently manager of Northern Premier League Premier Division club Ilkeston Town.

He played as a centre half for Watford, Sheffield United, Birmingham City, Walsall, Bolton Wanderers, Scarborough and Gretna, and was capped once for England at Under-21 level.

After he finished playing, he became reserve team manager at Gretna, where he achieved the position of Director of youth development in May 06, but lost his job due to a money saving venture a few months later.

In May 2008, Holdsworth was appointed to his first managerial post, taking over at Ilkeston Town.
