The local derby at Sincil Bank between the Stags and Lincoln was overshadowed by outbreaks of fighting after the game, when Stags supporters trying to get back to their coaches were involved with local youths and several fights breaking out.

During the game, there was also outbreaks of trouble that had led to stewards moving in to restore order.

As Lincoln opened the scoring in the 53rd minute, a flare was seen landing in the visitors enclosure, which resulted in some visiting fans trying to get into the home enclosure, with stewards rushing to try and restore order.

Several Stags supporters have questioned why there wasn't a visible police presence in the stadium during the game.

Clashes outside the ground, also resulted in injuries, with reports that one young home supporter was struck by a missile thrown from a section of the visiting supporters.

The trouble comes hot on the heels of violent clashes in and outside field mill, as the Stags beat Oxford 1-0, again in a game that had no visible police presence at the ground.
