Fans Split on Boycott Issue

After Team Mansfield recently called on Stags supporters to boycott Field Mill, in protest at owner Keith Haslam, and in a call to help remove him from office quicker, we at StagsMAD ran a poll to ask if the timing was right due to the Stags position in the league table, we also cauged people's reaction at Hereford in the recent away trip there.

With the Stags needing all the help they could get in terms of acheiving points to move away from the relegation zone, we asked if a boycott at this time would be beneficial to the team itself.

Out of 286 votes, the vote was split. 39% called for an imediate boycott, whilst 39% also said there should be no boycott at all. 22% said we should wait until the team is safe before launching such action.

It would seem that those calling for an immediate boycott still have some convincing to do before fans will stay away from home games.
