Four Players Leave One Call Stadium

Mansfield Town manager Steve Evans has wasted no time in ringing changes to his playing staff, by off loading four members of the squad built by ex-boss Adam Murray in the summer of 2016.

Defender Alex Iacovitti has returned to Notts Forest following his loan move being terminated early.

Also following Alex out of the door is striker Darius Henderson who isn't going to see his short contract extended into the new year

Henderson scored two goals for the Stags, with the late one against Notts County in the 3-1 home success being the obvious highlight.

More famous for his role at Millwall, the 35 year old is one again without a club, having been at Scunthorpe, Leyton Orient and Coventry City before finding his way to the One Call.

Midfielder Oscar Gobern is another to have his contract not extended beyond the new year, having made 11 appearances

Having started off strongly under Muray, Evans obviously does not see a longer future for the former Huddersfield Town man.

And to complete the quartet, Adi Yussuf has joined Grimsby Town following his loan spell down at Crawley Town

Regarded as a bright prospect, Adi suffered for fitness at his time at Mansfield, but is hoping to prove his worth in the football league.

It marks a busy few weeks for Evans, has he tries to lift the Stags up the League 2 table
