"Just arrived home from Mansfield. After spending over £700 on season tickets for my family and having seen only a handful of decent performances at home so far this season I thought we should take a look at the Mariners away from home. So after parting with another £44 we witnessed a decent start with Town playing some good football on the floor for the first 15 mins with Woodhouse prominent. Then all of a sudden we start hoofing it long again. From that point the performance descended into endless long hopeful balls hit forward with no effect. NO CRAFT, NO SUBLETY, NO VARIATION.

I can accept the defeat, I can accept the individual mistakes that cost us both goals but what I can't accept is the same shambolic football week in week out. Quality football and success can go together, look at Wycombe, Leyton Orient and Carlisle who all play a good passing game. Town are a team that struggles to string three passes together at time. What do they do in training ?

I have been a season ticket holder for 35 years and will continue because I support GTFC irrespective of results, manager, players etc. But I know several people who are no longer prepared to pay their hard earned money to watch such poor quality football.

I have seen good Town teams and bad ones, promotions and relegations and the quality of football over the last season and a half has been as bad as the worst I have seen.

Without doubt the current squad is a good one with sufficient ability to play better. GTFC has generally been well known for good football in the past and this used to be a source of pride. I am sad to say that I have no pride in the current team playing the way they are instructed."

I have to say that this season i have seen us play a lot worse away from home and pick up all 3 points!
Two schoolboy errors gifted Mansfield their goals but Mildenhall for one hasnt done much wrong in a Town shirt so personally, I can forgive him.
Lump missed an absolute sitter and how on earth their 22 got away with persistent bear hugs on Rob Jones was amazing. I know its valentines day guys but leave it for the showers!

After the errors it appeared we had a couple of passengers because Mendes doesn't look up to the task. He had a decent 20 minutes against Peterborough but since then he has looked very limited. Reddy was off the pace all night. Was he injured? Didnt look with it to me. Parky is too lightweight and personally i remain to be convinced about a Futcher/ R Jones partnership.

Slightly dissapointed about the turnout tonight. Expected 1000 but only 700 and something and far too quiet. Still i guess there must have been free cash been given out elsewhere in Mansfield because they could only muster 2300 of theri own fans.

Loved the copper telling people off for getting excited! It's a bloody football match not aqaerobics FFS
