Haslam's flag of inconvience!

A GROUP of Stags' supporters unwittingly sparked controvesy in Australia after choosing the Melbourne Cricket Ground to demonstrate about the club's unpopular owner Keith Haslam.

The unidentified fans held up a St George's flag at the fourth test of the Ashes series on Thursday with the words 'Haslam Out' emblazoned across it.

But as the camera panned across the crowd, a fold on the flag made it look like 'Islam Out' and ground officials were alerted to what seemed like a racial statement.

Stumped authorities soon realised the 'offending' flag was not anti-islamic- but the incident left curious media Down Under in a spin as to who the identity of 'Haslam'.

We have since been in contact with the CHAD and supplied images of the flag featured.
