Palmer is set for a frosty and somewhat hostile reception at Edgeley Park on Saturday. I don't know of any County fans that applauded what he did for our club throughout the time he was here. This may however, backfire on us if he names himself in the starting eleven - and will probably play an absolute blinder.
According to Carlton, he did a good job at Edgeley Park and still has friends there, what is your view on this?
Carlton may have friends at Edgeley Park, but none pay to get in on a Saturday afternoon. Manager Chris Turner has told reporters that he is good friends with Carlton, but don't expect any happy returns from the County faithful - ask Owen Morrison!
Carlton recently had a major public falling out with some of the Stags players, which resulted in them leaving the club, did this happen at Stockport?
Not that I can remember.
Did he ever turn on the supporters during his time there?
He didn't turn on the supporters as such - but did go onto Soccer AM and explained his actions there, rather than through the channels that Turner does it, and the correct way! He didn't stand in the dugout, and was always up and down the Main Stand - rather unprofessional some might say.
