Mansfield Town sign winger Cain

Mansfield Town have signed winger Ashley Cain after a successful trial spell at Field Mill.Cain, 19, has impressed Stags manager David Holdsworth in pre-season and has accepted a one-year contract with the Blue Square Bet Premier club.

Holdsworth said: "Ashley is an exciting prospect. He has created a good impression and I hope he has a good season with us."

Cain has previously played for Coventry City, Luton Town and Oxford United.
