Perry Still In

After innitially revealing interest at the start of the current storm against Keith Haslam, which has seen many a protest from disgruntled supporters, Andy Perry has now said that his bid still stands, "There is still a strong interest from myself. My advisors are going through the paperwork". Perry told the Nottingham Evening Post on Wednesday.

"There has not been a lot of movement, but these things take time.

"Keith said he needed to see that I am in a position financially where I am not wasting his time. My advisers intend to do that through lawyers, to show that the funds are there.

"From that point we can obtain the other relevant paperwork we need and put forward our business plan."
