Protesters Warned

Just prior to the weekend, which saw the Stags win 2-1 over Walsall, hundreds of 'Haslam Out' signs were found hanging from lamp posts and traffic lights around the town.

However complaints have since been made to Council officials in the area, with Andre Camilleri, from Mansfield District Council saying people must stay on the right side of the law.

"If you are caught putting up posters, you will be fined, on the spot, £75, it doesn't matter if the poster says Haslam in or Haslam out."

Stags Fans for Change who are taking the 'Haslam Out' campaign to another level, by asking supporters to boycott, and organizing petitions acknowlaged the Council's stance "While we recognise what the council has said in that there's some illegality in putting the posters up, people will take whatever means they think are necessary to raise the issue about Keith Haslam," Graham Parker from the group told the BBC.
