Shirtliff confident of Barker loyalty
Peter Shirtliff is confident captain Richie Barker will sign a new contract with the clubThe striker - whose current deal expires in a year - has had his contract reviewed after an outstanding season with the Stags.
Boss Shirtliff said: "We have offered him an extension. He's happy here and he likes it here so I'm hopeful he will stay.
"I like Richie, he's the club captain and he scored 23 goals in all competitions last season. If we can get another like him we should be in the top six next season."
