Shirtliff:"A Good Work Out"

The Stags came through the pre-season game with Derby without any injuries, and Stags assistant Peter Shirtliff says it proved "to be a good work out"

As for the exciting prospect of the three man attack of Tipton, Birchall, and Barker, Shirtliff says they will "cause problems for defences this season".

The goalkeeping positon still causes supporters cause for concern, with long term target Matt Glenon now joining Celtic, leaving just Jason White as goalkeeper for the Stags, however Shirtliff pointed out that "Kevin Pressman was joining the club as goalkeeper coach, and was eager to play, which is one avenue we could look at".
