Shirtliff...'I would like to thank the fans...'

Peter Shirtliff told the official Mansfield Town Website, just after his departure "I have enjoyed my time here and I am disappointed but I realise that it is a results based business and results just haven't been good enough. I still believe that two results could have turned things around but that is the situation we find ourselves in.
