Simpson Looks to Pile on more misery

Last updated : 14 October 2005 By Editor
Speaking to the official Carlisle website, manager Paul Simpson is looking to halt a run of 4 succesive defeats for the home side, and pile yet more misery onto the Stags.

"They had a good result last week and Peter Shirtliff, the caretaker manager, has had a few good results since he took over. They have been a bit hit and miss since the start of the season, I'm sure he'd be the first to admit that, but so have we lately.  We need to forget about anything that they have done because we know how they play, we know about the individuals that can cause us a threat, and we have to make sure that we do things right this weekend."

"It's another tough game for us but it is one that we are more than capable of going out and winning. We have got to make sure we start winning again, and I want it to be this weekend. We are at home and it's a game that everyone is looking forward to."
