Keith Curle is forced to change a winning side in the clash with Preston, Joe O'Neil, on loan from Preston, is cup tied.

Preston meanwhile are without Ricardo Fuller who was sold to Portsmouth at the back end of last week. Pressure is mounting on manager Craig Brown, with Preston fans calling for his head at the early part of the season, defeat against Mansfield will only intensify those calls.

The Stags meanwhile will be hoping to progress and draw a Premiership side in the next round. After brave defeats to Sunderland and Derby at the same stage of the competiton in the last couple of years, Keith Curle hopes his men will be able to progress into the next round "I will have to make changes because of Joe. But I now have 19 quality players here and I could put any 11 or 16 of them out and it would not be a weakened side as such."
"Any combination could go out and do me a job."
