Mansfield Town boss Duncan Russell says his team must improve on their display in 3-1 FA Trophy quarter-final replay victory over Chasetown on Tuseday. The visitors were the better side in the first half until Adam Murray fired Stags ahead from Ashley Cain's cross.

Ben Jevons levelled after the break but a scrambled Louis Briscoe effort and Danny Mitchley's strike sealed the win.

"We did it the difficult way. We didn't start in the first half at all," Russell told BBC Radio Nottingham.

"We said a few words at half-time and we come out in the second half and responded but I want them to respond themselves on the pitch.

"But we still had chances and in the second half things went to plan.

"We had so many chances towards the end and you have to take those chances because better opposition will punish you."

The FA Trophy first leg against Luton Town is at Field Mill on Sunday, 13, March and kicks off at 1200 GMT.

The return leg is on Saturday, 19 March and kicks off at 1500 GMT. That means the Blue Square Premier Bet fixture against Histon - which was scheduled for that day - will now take place on Tuesday, 22 March.
