Stags Capacity Slashed

Last updated : 20 September 2007 By Editor
After firstly adjourning their meeting from Wednesday, the Safety Advisory Group have now revealed their punishment, following the ticketing problems at Field Mill, for the local derby with Chesterfield.

The SAG have now reduced the capacity at Field Mill to just 4,684 supporters, and with a local derby with Notts County due on 20th October, the decision could not have come at a worse time.

Chairman James Derry has said that any further reduction could affect his bid to buy the club, and also said that the future of the football club is in real danger with any more restrictions.
