Stags Game CALLED OFF AGAIN !!!

The fire that caused the innitial postponment of the Carling Cup clash with Mansfield Town and Preston, is still burning, leading to the cancellation of tonight's re-arranged fixture. Adding to the situation, Preston have also logged an official complaint with the football league about the re-arranged game being just one day after the original was called off, citing their long journey to Brighton at the weekend.

The game will now be played on Tuesday 21st September 2004 at 7.45.


It is also worth noting that the 5 a side league remains called off, due to the whole area being under the supervision of the Fire Safety officer, and they don't want any people in that vacinity of the fire !
