Fox returns for Mansfield trip

Walsall manager Richard Money has been boosted by the return of Daniel Fox for the Field Mill clash with Mansfield on Saturday afternoon.Fox missed the 2-0 win at Grimsby while serving a one-game suspension.

Darren Wrack could also come into contention after a 90-minute midweek run-out for the reserves underlined his recovery from a hamstring injury although Money said: "Darren could probably do with a couple more reserve games yet."

Defender Geordie Lyall could also be in line for a debut after he received international clearance following his December transfer from Vancouver Whitecaps.

But centre-half Allan Picken, who has managed just two appearances since joining from Australia's Newcastle United Jets during the summer, remains sidelined by knee troubles.

Coke out of clash with Walsall

Mansfield boss Billy Dearden will be without midfielder Giles Coke when his side entertain League Two leaders Walsall on Saturday afternoon.Coke, 20, was forced out of the 3-2 midweek defeat at Accrington Stanley with a knee injury and Dearden is waiting on the results of a scan to assess how serious it is.

Coke was replaced at Accrington by Simon Brown and he is in pole position to partner Jonathan D'Laryea in the centre of Dearden's midfield.

Striker Danny Reet (ankle) is still short of match fitness and will not be involved, with new-look strike-force Barry Conlon and Martin Gritton hoping to add to their tally of three goals between them in two games.

That leaves striker Michael Boulding back on the bench despite saying he was "extremely disappointed" to be dropped.

Dearden has no further injury worries as he seeks his first win at Field Mill since a 4-0 FA Cup win over Huddersfield in December 2001.
