Winners to Face Leicester Away !

When the 1st round Carling Cup tie between Mansfield & Preston is finally played (Tuesday 21st September), the winners of the game will face a trip to play Leicester City (date to be arranged)

The stags last played Leicester on the 5th January 2002 in a 3rd round FA cup tie at the old Filbert Street ground. The match caused uproar as only 3300 tickets were made available to Stags fans, when more could easily have been sold, indeed some away fans made it into the home end.
