Wycombe Defeat Reaction

Caretaker Manager Peter Shirtliff: "I'm disapointed with the performace, and thought we were sloppy all over. It just shows the lack of consistancy in the players at the moment. If we get the consistancy we'll start picking up points. At 3-0 down we weren't expected to win the game, i'm more concerened with how we played at 0-0. I was trying to get some momentum in the players from Wednesday, I do think we need a couple of fresh faces to add a bit more experience. It is costing us a little bit as young players tend to be a bit more incosistant."

Wycombe boss John Gorman:"It seems crazy that we are talking now as if we are disappointed to have won 3-2 away from home but it was just the manner in which it happened today. "When they have nothing to lose you just have a go in the second-half and sometimes you just get a break. They got the break from the penalty. It was a penalty, you couldn't argue but we should have maybe scored to make it 4-0". "In the end we are just delighted to get three points. You know how horrible this game can be but imagine if we'd lost that one or drawn that one today"
