Speaking to BBC Radio Nottingham after the game, Jake Buxton said "We played some decent football, we let in two soft goals, but we've gone on to win quite comforatble in the end."

"You can see how much it means to both (Johnny) Mullins and D'Laryea, and all the players."

"I'm baffled as to how we can beat the top sides, then lost to the likes of Grimsby here, the fans are baffled as well, but if we put in the same effort as in the draw at MK Don's, and as today, we'll win more than we lose."

"It was a great trip back from MK Don's in the week after grabbing the draw, as it felt like we'd won, and took the morale into this game."

On the confusion of Wycombe's 1st equalizer, Buxton went on"We've cleared the ball, and there was a mix up between D'Laryea and Dawson, and D'Laryea has took touch that took the ball away from him and me and Alex didn't know if to come and get the ball, as we didn't know if he was going to play it back to Jason. He tried to play it back to Jason and it's caught by studs, and then McGleish has took it through and scored."
