The Stags are expected to be unchanged in their 1st Round Carling Cup clash with Huddersfield at the Galpharm Stadium.

Stags boss Peter Shirtliff is expected to keep the same side that drew 1-1 away at Grimsby last time out, Last Friday.

Meaning the side is likely to be: Muggleton, Jellyman, Mullins, Buxton, Baptiste, Hamshaw, Boulding, Dawson, D'Laryea, Barker and Brown, with Birchall, Reet, Beardsley and Callum Lloyd hoping to feature as well. Jason White is again expected to be on the bench as substitute keeper.

TOWN captain Jon Worthington is out of tonight's Carling Cup first-round home clash with Mansfield (7.45).

And the midfielder could also be struggling to figure in Saturday's bid to cut down League I pacesetters Nottingham Forest, also at the Galpharm.

Worthington, right, suffered discomfort in his groin during Saturday's dramatic 2-2 draw at Brentford, and the fear is it could be a hernia.

The 23-year-old was seeing a specialist today in a bid to assess the extent of the problem.

Boss Peter Jackson, who is also without Chris Brandon and has a doubt over fellow ankle injury victim Gary Taylor-Fletcher for the visit of the League II Stags, will certainly not be prepared to risk Worthington.
