Curle Relishing First Showdown with Former Club

Although both Curle and Mansfield Town may still have a date in Court to sort a compensation package out following his sacking from Field Mill, Curle is trying to treat Friday's clash at the Deva Stadium as "A game of football with three points available and i will prepare my side and approach the game as any other".

Curle states he enjoyed his time at Field Mill, and says "I have a lot of time for the supporters there, "they were very good to me, though I had to earn their respect through providing them with entertaining, attractive football that was succesful".

Curle is certainly turning the fortunes of Chester round, as having found them one of the favourites to struggle this season, they are currently unbeaten in League 2. Their two home games so far have been a 2-2 draw with Lincoln, and a very exciting 4-4 draw with Darlington. Highly rated striker Gregg Blundell is a major player for Curle's side this season.
