Safety Test for Stags

Last updated : 27 July 2007 By Editor
After having part of the the Safety Certificate revoked following ugly scenes at the end of the season game with Barnet, which resulted in a reduced capacity at Field Mill, all eyes are on this weekends pre-season friendly with Derby County as the Stags aim to get the Field Mill Capacity back up to near 10,000.

With games against Lincoln and Chesterfield due fairly straight away in the League 2 campaign, the decision by the Safety Advisory Group (SAG) will be vital, following their observations at the Derby game.

Derby for their part have been given just over 900 tickets for the friendly, and are advising supporters to purchase one before travelling to Field Mill, as no tickets will be on sale on the day.
