"Most boring game since the Wycombe game (0-1) last season.

So bad I can't remember us having a shot second half.

Only a great reflex save from Joe stopped them getting a deserved 3 points.

Pleasing that we've some how retained our home unbeaten record.. But it was really dire.

Hopefully the booing at the end will get the boys up for Notts on Saturday. "

"I think the booing was half hearted Geoff as there was plenty of vocal support fight to the latter stages when we were all getting a bit jittery that Mansfield could, and should have taken the game."

"Agreed we were very poor second half.

very poor game and we were fortunate to hang on for a point. effort couldn't be faulted but we never got going from start to finish. 10 points from 12 since is fine by me and we shouldn't be to downbeat about not winning tonight .
not sure why hoddle was at the match , perhaps looking at a goalkeeper he can't afford "

"Good interview by GP on Radio Shropshire after the game - down to earth as always.
He gave no excuses for the performance, other than saying that the condition of the pitch didn't help - not the footballing aspect - that was the same for both sides, but he stressed that while both teams played on Saturday, Mansfield haven't had to play twice on a pitch like Gay Meadow.
He also said he wouldn't have liked to have paid to watch that performance!
He praised Joe Hart and the defenders, but said that the midfield and attack just didn't have the legs to perform tonight. He also said that if you'd have offered him ten points from four games at the beginning of the month, he'd have bitten your hand off."

Meanwhile some Shrewsbury supporters suggest Glenn Hoddle was at the game, not to watch their keeper, but to look at Giles Coke.
